Learning new stuff...

I seem to have too much free time on my hands (for most this is a good thing..not so much for me)..so I started putting my time to good use.  Am learning a new graphics based program to enhance my editing. Have been really enjoying it, but it is very time consuming a few seconds of graphics/vid can take hours to make...anyway here is short clip that I made..to introduce my showreel (to follow at a later stage).

The quality is not the best for web but u can get the idea...

Mom's 50th Birthday Wkend...

Byron and Kay came to stay for the wkend, we had breakfast together on Sunday and made mom do a treasure hunt for her present in the garden...

then we went to Gold Reef City for the day and had lots of fun...

We had such a nice day together..only wish Dane had been there too.

The tower of terror was insane!! A vertical drop, face first...and while we were waiting in the line the ride kept getting stuck..so we were a bit nervous to say the least!

I went to the berg this last week for work..wish it could have been for pleasure rather and that Dane could of come but anyhoo, can't complain not many people get to work in the berg!

We stayed in the chalets at Champagne sports.

The first trip in my new little car (corsa sport)..ain't it cute :o)

We had a day off during the week so I went to watch the falcon show..was very good.  Fell in love with the cute little owls.

Bryan Adams

Mom, Cands and I went to the Bryan Adams concert in Durbs.  We had golden circle tickets, so we go there early and managed to get front row!!! It was the most amazing experience, we had so much fun :o)

You can see how close we are, but this still doesn't do it justice we where so close..i swear at one point he actually looked straight at me! ;o)
