Finally managed to take some pics of our new little place in the 'big city.'  Its in a cute small complex in the Broadacres area.  The garden is quite small for the dogs but am trying to walk them as much as possible.  It is comfortable and nice to finally have a place of our own :o)

It is so nice having a full en suite bathroom, we are not used to having that much space..it's fantastic!  The stairs take a bit of getting used to (some form of exercise ;o) ...it is so funny watching the dogs try and navigate them as they have never experienced stairs before and tend to battle.

Mom & Cand do jhb...

It was really nice to have my mom and sister with me for the weekend.  We did some sight seeing around jhb, hit the zoo and behaved like animals :o)

My two favs..the tiger and the polar bear.  So cute!  Wish the tiger had woken up but the polar bear gave us a good show scratching himself against the rocks.

2 and a half days till Mom & Cand come to visit!! Yay

We just move to the 'big city' 2 weeks ago and I must say it is going to take a little getting used to.  Missing the sleepy hollow of Hillcrest already and especially being close to family and friends.  We found a really cute complex in Broadacres, is small but suits us just fine..will be a work in progress for awhile...
