New Year at the Farm

A bunch of us gathered at the farm for a quiet new years..it was nice to be with family again. 

The boys went riding and flying remote control aircraft.  Gabs just started learning to crawl..so cute. Had a fun relaxing time together playing tennis, board games...pottering around the farm and drinking lots of tea :o)

Also got some supa exciting news while we were there ...Kayley is pregnant !!..Yay, so excited to be an aunty!!! Great way to start the new year..hoping for lots of change, good times and lots of blessings over our friends and family for 2011. ♥

♥ Christmas Time ♥

We managed to make it down to Durbs just in time for Christmas Eve..which we spent with the Bennison side of the fam.  Unusually small for a change as the Hoddies head to Knysna so it was just Cand, J..Mom, Dad..Nind and Gramps.  And then on Christmas day we were with the Temletts..also a small gathering with Kay, By..Mom and Dad..Bevan and Blayze.  Even tho it was such a short visit, it was so worth the trip to be with family over Christmas.

For those of you who have been to visit, you would know of our immense torture and frustration that we experience with the dreaded peacock that reside next door!  And who keep us up at all ours of the night with their incessant  foghorn-like screeching.   Well I happen to come across the whole family (pests) consisting of 2 males and a female while driving into our complex recently...needless to say I did try run them ova but with no luck! Grrrr

But managed to snap this pic of the one menace as it tauted me, once the gate had shut!

Breakfast Run...

On a much lighter note.. we went on a breakfast run with the Subaru club on Sunday morning 5:30am meeting!!
Bit early for me..but the countryside was so scenic and we saw some hot air balloons just taking off..was really pretty, would love to do that some time.
