We did a high tea/mad hatters tea party for Hay's bridal shower, Natalie (her other bridesmaid) managed to find the cutest Alice in Wonderland outfit for her..and of course she looked gorgeous in it ;o)Had lots of fun. As a gift for my Birthday Dane got me a skydive.. I have been wanting to do it for ages and it was soooo worth the wait.  Wow, what an awesome experience!! It only took one weekend at the Vaal to convince Dane that we should have never sold our jetski and it was time to go in search of a new one!!..and within the week he had found a great deal, in East London (of all places) so we took a little road trip to fetch it... Went to Zwartkops raceway with the Subi club over the weekend for the International Historic Race meeting.. cars and drivers from all over come to showcase their vehicles.  Everything from classic race cars to saloons.  Was really cool to see all these vintage cars still in full working order and racing round the track!  Had lots of laughs at number 28 (in pic) with his big steering wheel trying

We had our American cousins (the Fray's) come to visit Durbs over the weekend...worked out perfectly that I happen to be down there for work.  It was so nice to get to know everyone and their significant others.  We went up to the top of Moses Mabhida stadium, then to the beach and later headed down the coast to Balito to visit Kris and the boys for a relaxed braai and swim.  Awesome time

Spent the past week at Etv News in Durbs doing some work experience.  I got to learn how to operate some new equipment and software.  Really enjoyed it.  A real eye opener shooting out in the middle of rural no where..makes you appreciate all that you have.

A bunch of us gathered at the farm for a quiet new years..it was nice to be with family again. The boys went riding and flying remote control aircraft.  Gabs just started learning to crawl..so cute. This weekend Dane entered a car event at Swartkopz raceway with a bunch of the other Subi guys.  Love to see him in his element and we had a lot of fun. There are three events..Skid pan, hill climb and track.   Best times for each event are taken and the winner is the best combined time over all... Dane walked away with 1st Prize in his class :o)

We went to visit Mark, Nic and the girls for the long weekend..it was so nice to get out of Jhb and just have a relaxing weekend.  Sienna & Gabi are so precious and a real joy to be around. Mom, Cands and I went to the Bryan Adams concert in Durbs.  We had golden circle tickets, so we go there early and managed to get front row!!! As you can see Chase is just dying to get stuck in there!!! I am really battling to keep the dogs out of the flower beds..hence the 'fencing' its more of a deterrent for now to get them used to not going in and I am also using 'Get Out of My Garden' its like a crystal gel that apparently helps..so we will see and hopefully once they used to avoiding the beds I can take down the fencing :o)

We flew down to Cape Town on Saturday for a friends wedding.  Stayed at a cute B&B on a wine farm in Paarl.  It is such a beautiful area and was nice to make the trip, just wish we had more time to enjoy it :o)

Finally managed to take some pics of our new little place in the 'big city.'  Its in a cute small complex in the Broadacres area.  The garden is quite small for the dogs but am trying to walk them as much as possible.  It is comfortable and nice to finally have a place of our own :o)

It is so nice having a full en suite bathroom, we are not used to having that much space..it's fantastic!  The stairs take a bit of getting used to (some form of exercise ;o) ...it is so funny watching the dogs try and navigate them as they have never experienced stairs before and tend to battle.
